Start ‘Em

Carolina Panthers @ Chiefs

The Panthers have had a good run of opponents in the last few weeks. Defense and special teams have scored the most points this season against the Chiefs, so there is great potential for Carolina to put up good points in Week 13. They’re probably still out there on your waiver wire, too.

New York Jets v. Cardinals

The Jets may not have the same dominant defense of seasons past, but they are still serviceable. NYJ will be facing a Cardinals team in Week 13 that gives up the 2nd most points to defense and special teams.

Dallas Cowboys v. Eagles

Philly has been a good punching bag this season when it comes to planning your D/ST decisions around their matchups. The Eagles have struggled when healthy and now are struggling while injured, so this could be a big weak for beating up a weakened team for Dallas. Philly is giving up an average of 11.5 fantasy points per week to D/ST.

Sit ‘Em

Miami Dolphins v. Patriots

The Patriots offense scores points. Period. Lots and lots of points. Just don’t play a D/ST against them and you’ll be fine.

Denver Broncos v. Bucs

The Bucs offense has seen new life in recent weeks, and they have found big play power.  They are giving up an average of 2.6 points to opposing D/ST, so this probably isn’t the week to start the Broncos defense if you have other options.

Washington Redskins v. Giants

This is a no brainer given how unsteady the ‘Skins defense has been this season. They will be facing a Giants team that can put up big offense when the door is open, so look to avoid this D/ST disaster in Week 13.
