Start ‘Em

Matt Ryan (Falcons v. Saints)

The Saints are giving up the most yards and fantasy points to quarterbacks this season. That fact combined with the simple fact that Ryan and the Falcons receiving corps are pretty tough is going to mean a big Week 13 for Matt Ryan.

Brandon Weeden (Browns @ Raiders)

Weeden has been cleared for play in Week 13 just in time for a favorable matchup against Oakland. The Raiders are ranked 31st in the league versus quarterbacks, and are giving up an average of 18.5 fantasy points per week to the position. This could be a big game for both Weeden and Josh Gordon.

Eli Manning (Giants @ Redskins)

In typical Eli fashion, Manning has been up and down in 2012. The good news is that he will be facing a Redskins defense in Week 13 that has been weak against the pass. Washington is giving up an average of 18.4 fantasy points per week to QBs. That’s 3rd worst in the NFL. Expect a big performance from Manning.

Tony Romo (Cowboys v. Eagles)

Look for Romo to follow up his big Turkey Day with a solid Week 13 showing as the Cowboys face the Eagles. Philly is giving up the 4th most points to quarterbacks this season. They will likely have serious coverage issues when dealing with Bryant and Witten, so Romo should be solid.

Sit ‘Em

Russell Wilson (Seahawks @ Bears)

This goes without saying. The Bears defense has been punishing quarterbacks this season. Between the numerous turnovers they have created and the meager average of 9.1 points per week given up to QBs, Chicago will be a horror for Wilson and the Seattle offense in Week 13.

Jay Cutler (Bears v. Seahawks)

It’s going to be a rough night altogether in this matchup as both defenses are stout against the pass. The Seahawks have arguably the best secondary in the game and they are giving up an average of 10.8 points per week to opposing QBs. That’s 3rd best in the league. Look for this to be a grind for both offenses.

Sam Bradford (Rams v. 49ers)

The 49ers defense has been stingy this season, and that stands to cause trouble for the ailing Rams offense. San Fran is only giving up an average of 11.5 fantasy points to opposing QBs this season.

Mark Sanchez (Jets v. Cardinals)

The Jets have been a train wreck all season, and there woes stand to continue in Week 13. Sanchez will be facing a strong Cardinals secondary that has been opportunistic in pass defense. They are only giving up 11.4 points to QBs per game, and that average is based on playing teams that aren’t a complete offensive disaster. It’s going to be a rough week for Sanchez and the Jets.
