Week 13 Start ‘Em/Sit ‘Em – TEs

Each week The Kommish will be giving start/sit advice by position. Check back weekly for updates.

Start ‘Em

Dallas Clark (Bucs @ Broncos)

Clark has been on a hot streak of late, and the Bucs will be facing a Broncos defense that is worst in the league when it comes to giving up points to tight ends.

Martellus Bennett (Giants @ Redskins)

Must like all of the other offensive categories, the Redskins have struggled when it comes to giving up points to tight ends. Look for Eli and Bennett to have some solid connections in Week 13.

Dwayne Allen (Colts @ Lions)

The Lions are ranked 28th in the league versus TEs, and are giving up an average of 8.5 points to opposing tight ends. Allen has been solid in recent weeks, and look for him to have a good game against Detroit.

Sit ‘Em

Brandon Myers (Raiders v. Browns)

Myers has had a pretty good run in recent weeks, but Oakland will be facing a Browns defense that is giving up the least points to tight ends this season. Cleveland is giving up an anemic 4.7 fantasy points per week to opposing TEs.

Dennis Pita (Ravens v. Steelers)

Pita doesn’t have a good matchup this week as the Ravens face the Steelers. Pittsburgh has only been allowing an average of 5.5 points to tight ends per week.

Jermaine Gresham (Bengals @ Chargers)

Gresham has had a pretty decent season, but he’s facing a San Diego defense that is ranked 6th in terms of giving up points to tight ends. Look elsewhere this week if you can.
