Week 14 Fantasy Pick-Ups

For most fantasy leagues this next week will mark the end of the fantasy regular season. Below are 5 players to target on the Week 14 waiver wire. Good luck in striking gold just in time for the playoffs.

Colin Kaepernick (QB, 49ers)

Kaepernick is the real deal. He probably was scooped up last week, but go get him if he’s out there. Harbaugh is saying the QB decision is going to be on a week by week basis, but as I mentioned last week…we know what Alex Smith is. It’s time to move on, and Kaepernick has explosive potential. Week 14 is the first week of fantasy playoffs for most leagues, and Kaepernick could be a good play against a suspect Dolphins defense.

T.Y. Hilton (WR, Colts)

Hilton has been on a warm streak lately for the Colts. While he’s officially the #3 receiver on the roster, he has fantasy upside because he gets work in run plays out of the backfield and in punt returns. Andrew Luck has been pretty proficient at spreading the wealth which means Hilton will remain relevant. He is still out there in a lot of leagues, and he’s definitely worth picking up.

Bryce Brown (RB, Eagles)

He’s a monster. Enough said. He’s probably already been taken in most leagues, but grab if he’s there. He remains a must start as long as McCoy is out.

Vick Ballard (RB, Colts)

The Colts don’t exactly have a strong run game, but Ballard has proven to be serviceable in the absence of Donald Brown. Of course, if Brown is more healthy in Week 14 it could diminish Ballard’s role. He’s worth adding for Week 14 as the Colts will be facing a Titans defense that is ranked 29th against the run.

Brandon Myers (TE, Raiders)

Myers continues to be a solid play at tight end and he’s still available in many leagues. He’s been a reliable target for Carson Palmer, and he had a monster performance in Week 13 putting up 130 yards and a TD. He was targeted 15 times, and that is probably the most promising of all of his stats. Grab him asap.
