That’s right, folks! Get your very own Kaeper Tat!

Colin Kaepernick, Tattoos, Temporary TattoosThis really exists. Head on over to kaepertat.com and get your very own temporary tattoos modeled after the body ink of San Francisco 49ers standout quarterback, Colin Kaepernick. Kaep’s tattoos have been a topic of much deliberation this season as some have expressed opinions that signal callers, as faces of their franchises, should not support such symbols of tomfoolery.  David Whitley’s article in Sporting News entitled, “Colin Kaepernick Ushers in an Inked-Up NFL Quarterbacking Era”, was a particularly excitable write-up demonstrating the the nonsensical stereotyping associated with the phenomenon of being tatted up (see below).

San Francisco’s Colin Kaepernick is going to be a big-time NFL quarterback. That must make the guys in San Quentin happy.

For dinosaurs like me, NFL quarterbacks were our little Dutch boys. The original hero stuck his finger in the dyke to save Holland. Pro QBs were the last line of defense against the raging sea of ink. When our kids said they wanted a tattoo, we could always point to the Manning brothers.

I still think tattoo removal is going to be huge industry in the coming years. But for now, I might as well accept that Holland is probably doomed. If you can’t draw the tattoo line at NFL quarterback, you can’t draw them anywhere.

Colin Kaepernick tattoos, temporary tattooThose interested in getting in on shucking the “get off my lawn” fuddy duddy attitude toward everyone’s favorite tatted up Niner can now get their very own fake ink. Those tats and the bible versus displayed are pretty hardcore…probably too hardcore for a temporary tattoo. But, hey, it’s pretty outstanding that such things exist. We live in a great world.
