Week 4 IDP Waiver Wire Targets

NFL: Super Bowl XLVII-Baltimore Ravens vs San Francisco 49ersGoing into Week 4 and the beginning of bye weeks it’s time to take a look at what’s out there in terms of waiver wire options. Players are beginning to come to the surface across the league, and there are plenty of guys to pick up. Good luck in Week 4!  (the scoring numbers below are based off of the PDW IDP Scoring System)

Ahmad Brooks (LB, 49ers)

Brooks becomes an even more valuable pickup with Aldon Smith out indefinitely and Patrick Willis fighting through injury in San Francisco. He had 9 total tackles and a sack in Week 3. He’s currently the top scoring player available in the PDW IDP leagues.

George Selvie (DE, Cowboys)

With Anthony Spencer now potentially out for the season, Selvie is locked into the starting role opposite DeMarcus Ware. Through three games in 2013 he’s picked up 7 tackles and 2 sacks. He’s a decent addition if you need an end.

Prince Amukamara (CB, Giants)

Amukamara has been up and down in terms of consistency in his career, but through three weeks in 2013 he’s been relatively solid. He’s currently averaging 13.0 points per week and is a good addition at cornerback.

Jimmy Smith (CB, Ravens)

Smith won back the starting role over Corey Graham which makes him a more viable IDP option. He hasn’t been lighting the world on fire, but he’s been relatively consistent through 3 weeks averaging 12.2 points per week.

James Ihedigbo (S, Ravens)

Ihedigbo is showing good IDP potential as he racked up 9 tackles and 2 passes defensed in Week 3. Despite a poor Week 2 performance, he’s still averaging 10.2 fantasy points per week.

Manny Lawson (LB, Bills)

Lawson has looked pretty good at strong side ‘backer for Buffalo through three weeks. He’s amassed 23 total tackles so far and is coming off a very strong Week 3 performance.
