Week 10 IDP Waiver Wire Targets

LB Pat AngererThe fantasy playoffs are so close I can almost taste them…or something. We’re weeks away from the fantasy playoffs for most formats, and it’s time to start bolstering that lineup to secure a playoff spot. Here’s a look at some IDP options on the Week 10 waiver wire. Good luck this week!

Paul Worrilow (LB, Falcons)

Worrilow had a huge game in Week 9 tallying 19 tackles (9 solo). It’s certainly good news to to see the jump in production for the outside linebacker, but expectations should be tempered as last week’s numbers were more than he had put up in the rest of 2013 combined.  He’s been relatively hot after the team’s bye, and he’s worth watching. He could be a decent pick up if you’re needing LB help.

Pat Angerer (LB, Colts)

You picked him up last week when I told you to, right? If you did then you’re likely very happy with his 12 tackle and 1 pass defensed in Week 9. He isn’t putting up the tackle machine numbers of old, but he could start ramping up production as he moves beyond injury.

Dimitri Patterson (CB, Dolphins)

Patterson was out weeks 2 through 5 with an injury, but he’s back now and he’s been particular solid since the Dolphins’ bye week. In the last three games he’s amassed 15 tackles, 1 sack, and 2 interceptions. As I always say, corners are a bit haphazard in terms of consistency. That said, Patterson has been hot recently and it’s nice to see he’s putting up nice tackle numbers for a cornerback. He’s worth consideration.

Chris Owens (CB, Browns)

Owens has been an under-the-radar kind of player in 2013. He’s had very consistent production, but is surprisingly not claimed in many IDP leagues. His Week 9 performance was his best of the season with 9 tackles and 1 sack. Cleveland is on a bye in Week 10, so you may not need to grab him just yet. But, he’s worth watching going forward or worth the savvy early add if you need DB help.
