Week 11 Standard & PPR Waiver Wire Targets

Rishard MatthewsWeek 11 is on the horizon and so are the fantasy playoffs. There were some key injuries in Week 10 that means there could be some good options out there on the waiver wire. Plus some familiar names will be returning soon and should be grabbed if they’re available. Here’s a look at players to target on the Week 11 waiver wire.

E.J. Manuel (QB, Bills)

Week 10 saw Manuel’s return from a knee injury. He had a mediocre performance, but Manuel has a good deal of upside. His ability to both pass and run give him some added fantasy value. He’s worth keeping an eye on, and could be of use if you need QB help down the stretch.

Brian Leonard/Bobby Rainey (RB, Bucs)

Recently a Brown, Rainey has stepped into a nice situation in Tampa Bay. With Doug Martin and now Mike James injured, the running responsibilities will fall on Rainey and Brian Leonard. Leonard stands to see more touches, but Rainey could be the TD guy. It’s worth watching, and one of these guys should find your roster.

Rishard Matthews (WR, Dolphins)

With Brandon Gibson being injured, Matthews has really stepped up in the Dolphins passing game. He seemed to have good mojo with QB Ryan Tannehill, and his 7 catches for 120 yards and 2 touchdown performance from Week 10 definitely raises eyebrows. He’s not going to have monster weeks like this every week, but the 14 targets is a key stat. He’s worth picking up if he’s seeing those kind of targets.

Michael Crabtree (WR, 49ers)

Remember this guy? After being out all season he’ll be returning to the field soon. He developed a great connection with QB Colin Kaepernick last season, and his team sorely needs receiver help. If someone hasn’t tucked him away on their bench all season, you can likely grab Crabtree now before the fantasy playoffs.

Percy Harvin (WR, Seahawks)

Harvin hasn’t seen any actual play time with his new team since being traded, but he’s going to be making his appearance very soon. It’s likely that someone in your league has been stashing him all season, but you should grab him if he’s still out there on the waiver wire. He’s listed as questionable for Week 11, but he’s itching to play.
