Week 14 IDP Waiver Wire Targets

Audie ColeThe fantasy playoffs are here and it’s time to look for those last minute IDP gems out there. Here’s a look at some players to target on the Week 14 IDP waiver wire. ¬†Good luck!

Audie Cole (LB, Vikings)

Despite having a good season in terms of production, Erin Henderson is in the dog house in Minnesota after a DUI. Henderson has been benched, and Cole has stepped in and produced very well in the last two weeks. Coach Leslie Frazier is making it seem like Cole is in the driver’s seat to keep the position for the rest of the season. He’s had 22 tackles and 1 sack over the last two games.

Jason Worilds (LB, Steelers)

Worilds is making a repeat appearance on the list. With Woodley struggling with injury in Pittsburgh, Worilds has been given the opportunity to emerge. He is now leading the team in sacks and he’s had decent tackle numbers over the last three weeks. It’s worth monitoring Woodley’s injury status, but Worilds could remain in the spot even if Woodley is healthy to return.

Julius Peppers (DE, Bears)

For the most part Peppers has been a bit of a disappointment for the Bears. That said, he showed in Week 13 that he still has it in him to be a disruptive force in the pass rush. He currently has 6.5 sacks (2.5 from last week) and has some upside if you’re needing DE help.

Matt Shaughnessy (DE, Cardinals)

Shaughnessy hasn’t had much production in 2013, but he had a very nice Week 13 as he racked up 7 tackes (4 for a loss) and 1 sack. He doesn’t have a ton of upside, but he’s worth watching and he could be of help if you’re in dire need of a defensive end.

Dawan Landry (S, Jets)

Landry has been a middle of the pack safety for much of the season, but he’s been producing very nicely in recent weeks since the arrival of Ed Reed has allowed him to return to SS. The Jets offense is very prone to turning the ball over which means their defense spends a ton of time on the field. Landry is worth consideration if you’re needing safety help.
