Punch Drunk Wonderland

Week 1 Rookie Report

Each week John Orr (aka Mr. Wendy) will be doing a Rookie Report to take a look at top performing rookies.

The rookie report-these are my top 11 rookies from Week 1.

Marcus Mariota (QB, Tennessee Titans)

In two qb leagues I would start him for sure and I like him against the browns this week.

Ameer Abdullah (RB, Detroit Lions)

Huge upside. Very versatile guy who needs to be in your line up.

David Johnson (RB, Arizona Cardinals)

Ellington is down! Johnson will get more touches and we saw what he can do last week with his 55 yard touchdown run.

Tevin Coleman (RB, Atlanta Falcons)

Here HE comes….nice flex starter

Melvin Gordon (RB, San Diego Chargers)

Had a TD called back. He will get his chances.

T. J. Yeldon (RB, Jacksonville Jaguars)

He is the best running back there and his role will continue to grow.

Kyle Emanuel (LB, San Diego Chargers)

He has good speed and he should be an option for teams that start 4 lb’s.

Henry Anderson (DE, Indianapolis Colts)

Liked him as well on draft day. Tackles will continue.

Rashad Green (WR, Jacksonville Jaguars)

I loved him in my drafts. He will get the check downs. If he is on your waivers grab him.

Marcus Peters (CB, Kansas City Chiefs)

Team will throw his way. Stats will continue.

Tyler Lockett (WR, Seattle Seahawks)

In return yardage leagues I hope you have him locked in.
