Wild Card Picks: The Sunday Games

San Francisco 49ers at Green Bay Packers (+3)
The 49ers are getting healthy just in time for a tough NFC playoff battle. For that matter, so are the Packers with the return of both Aaron Rodgers and Randall Cobb. I think this one is going to be a close one, and in the end it’s going to come down to San Francisco’s defense being a bit too much for the Pack. Green Bay has struggled in their run defense, and I expect Frank Gore to have a good day.
San Diego Chargers at Cincinnati Bengals (-7)
The Chargers are a dangerous playoff team coming off a big win while Cincy is a team with a good defense and an on-again-off-again offense that seems to lose its identity often. I’ve liked the Bengals all season and had hopes that they would evolve into a more well rounded force to be reckoned with, but I just don’t think they’re that team yet. I expect the Bengals to stumble and suffer the upset.
