Start ‘Em/Sit ‘Em – TE

Week 5

Each week The Kommish offers up a Start ‘Em/Sit ‘Em list of hot and not players based on matchups and general awesomeness potential (or lack thereof).

Start ‘Em

Greg Olsen (Panthers at Cardinals)

Olsen and the Panthers will be facing a good matchup in Week 5 as they head to Arizona. The Cardinals are giving up the second most fantasy points in the league to tight ends.

Brent Celek (Eagles at Giants)

The fast paced Philly offense is facing the Giants this week, and it should be a good matchup for Celek. The Giants defense is giving up an average of 11.5 fantasy points per week to opposing tight ends.

Sit ‘Em

Vernon Davis (49ers vs. Texans)

He’s one of the only options that Kaepernick has, but the matchup is not a good one for Vernon Davis in Week 5. He’ll be facing a Houston defense that is giving up the third fewest points to tight ends.

Delanie Walker (Titans vs. Chiefs)

Walker has been hot and cold and the quarterback situation in Tennessee is in turmoil with Locker injured. Week 5 isn’t the week to test the waters with the Titans tight end as the matchup is a terrible one. The Chiefs are giving a league least 1.8 fantasy poings to TEs. Don’t do it!
